Class Descriptions

Beginners

(Ongoing Beginner’s Class) Encourage yourself to begin wherever you are at. As adults, we don’t find the Beginner’s Mind often enough; let go of all that you know and practice in the present moment. This class is filled with students of various beginner levels. The focus is on basic alignment, breath work, postures/poses and meditation.

Moderate Yoga

(Some yoga experience recommended) We will flow on the breath, hold poses, explore, play, and find meditation in motion.

Gentle Yoga

Recommended for beginners and those healing from various injuries/diseases or simply enjoy a more gentle practice. May include Restorative Yoga, Slow Flows and Yin Yoga, Five Elements Yoga, Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep.

Beach Yoga at Cove Islands Horse Shoe Beach

Explore Kripalu Yoga on the sand in this ALL Levels Class. Bring a towel and your mat and come be in nature…breathe in the Blue Sky, the Clouds, the water and the flow of life from the outside in and the inside out. NO CLASS CARDS PLEASE.

Yoga Dance

A blend of yoga and dance that will be sure to give you a work out and a work in. Quotes from Yoga Student after class “Wow…what a wonderful way to spend a Sunday!  It’s usually the time when”monkey mind” sets in for me — thinking about the work week ahead and all the things that didn’t get done over the weekend.  All the crazy mind-boggling thoughts disappeared into the imaginary firepit and my body slipped in a delicious state of “happy fatigue.

Private Yoga

One on One or Semi Private classes at private studio looking out onto peaceful nature setting. Receive personalized yoga class/home program designed just for you! Private classes may be held in own home as well.
